Performance AI was founded by Brett Ellis NPQH, to help organisations use artificial intelligence safely, practically and effectively.

Performance AI is led by Brett Ellis, an experienced leader with a background in education, operations, business, technology, compliance, staff development and organisational improvement.
Brett brings 23 years’ experience in education and leadership, including roles as Lead Practitioner, Head of Business and Economics, Head of Vocational Faculty, and Director of Student Learning. Across these roles, he has led staff teams, delivered professional training, managed quality assurance systems, supported organisational change, developed partnerships and helped teams improve standards, systems and outcomes.
His wider professional background includes work in finance, media, technology and advocacy. Earlier in his career, Brett worked as a derivatives trader
More recently, he founded PABO: People Against Bank Overreach, using his CertICA Anti Money Laundering qualification and compliance knowledge to advocate for clients affected by frozen or closed bank accounts. This combination of experience gives Performance AI a distinctive edge: We understand that AI is not simply a technology issue. It is a leadership, workload, training, risk, communication and operational improvement issue.
